MerchantUp ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at merchantup.net. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights over it.
When you submit our contact form we collect:

For visitors from the UK and European Economic Area, we process your data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to a business enquiry you initiated) and, where relevant, contract performance (delivering services you have paid for).
This site may use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised traffic data (pages viewed, session duration, general location). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.
Contact form submissions are processed by Netlify (our hosting provider). Netlify stores form data securely and forwards it to us by email. See Netlify's privacy policy for their data handling practices.
We retain enquiry data for up to 2 years in case of follow-up or project resumption. If you become a client, we retain project-related records for 7 years for accounting purposes.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@merchantup.net and we will respond within 30 days.
This site uses no tracking cookies beyond those set by Google Analytics (if enabled). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
